"Was lucky enough to win a Silver Crown bridle and reins from Shadowhorse, it is beautiful quality and if I needed another I wouldn't hesitate to buy one. It is used every day and still looks brand new"
"I bought a Silver Crown bridle from Shadow Horse at Hickstead last year. Out of all my many bridles (have 8 horses) it is the best quality and fit. Would defo buy another!
"I've just bought a black comfort bridle with a cutaway headpiece from Shadow Horse. Only used it once so far, but it is gorgeous! Can't wait to use it properly. Sorry, can't help on the colour, just needed to gush!"
"I have two, one that I bought at the Olympia before last (so a year and a half ago) and the other I bought 6 months later at Hickstead (so almost a year). They are both the brown - nut with white stitching - la baule headpiece and grackle. They still look fantastic, barely look used apart from where the horse's slobber has got on the flash bit despite being the horses' only bridles until recently.

"This Silver Crown bridle from ShadowHorse had a lovely comfortable crown, all 3 straps off the main crown piece. I also liked how it is a standard width on the top for weight distribution, but well cut away from the ears... It also looks FAB quality. I was also impressed that the standard browband was as big as the XL Sabre one I also use.

The owner of the company seemed really on the ball, and they have some other nice looking products on the web site. An email I set last night about another product was promptly answered even though she was at Bramham! I would suspect their landline will have been diverted to her mobile too".

"The Silver Crown Bridles have made a huge difference to all of my horses' way of going. I believe it's a combination of good cushioning which the majority of my everyday work bridles don't have and the fact that they are very adjustable, so I can make them fit all horses on the yard and make them fit really well! One horse in particular was very resistant and this issue seems to have resolved itself using the bridles: he seems much happier and relaxed in his way of going.

"This is a great product, the colour of the leather is lovely and I like the white stitching. The soft leather headpiece sits behind the poll area and my horses are noticeably happier in it. The grackle is padded so there is no risk of pressure points. Lots of people say it is smart."

"The overall impression is of very good quality leather and a well-made good-looking headcollar  It's an attractive an innovative product, and the new approach to fitting at the back of the head is wonderful, as it's easy to adjust.....The clips on it are smooth, face inward, and just brilliant when you're putting on a bridle at a show."

"This martingale is a very smart design, and it's beautifully made in superb quality English leather and rope. The stitching is very tidy and neat.  We like the rope rein attachments as they look really good in contrast to the leather. The central cross of leather is a nice feature.  The neck and girth straps are adjustable.."

"I really like the padded headpiece and noseband on this bridle. However I found the flash strap far too long. A plus point is that all the straps, including the throatlash can be altered on both sides, enabling you to achieve a nice fit.  The leather is lovely and supple, making the buckles easy to do up. I love the reins too which are slim and nice to hold...."

"Silver Crown Bridle." ..."Another vote for Silver Crown. Cutaway headpiece, lovely soft leather, beautifully padded, noseband attaching to the headpiece and fab service."
