Refund policy

Hassle-free returns

We'll cheerfully cancel or amend an order, or refund or exchange purchased items provided you notify us and return any delivered products within 30 days of receipt, unused and in resaleable condition with their original packaging. We regret we can't accept cancellation or amendments to orders or returns of products (unless faulty) that are indicated as "Special Order" because they are not part of our normal stocked range and are ordered to customers' specific requirements.

For international orders, we'll deduct from the refund any net shipping costs we've incurred (ie actual shipping costs less shipping charges paid), and for VAT & duty-paid EU orders, the amount of customs charges we have paid out. 

Goods considered faulty must be returned within 90 days of purchase. On receipt we'll examine them and consult with our supplier where necessary. If found to be faulty, we'll repair or replace them as we consider appropriate.  

We don't cover or refund return postage costs, except in the case of faulty items or shipping errors.


Exchanges

If you want to exchange an item you've bought (eg if you need a different size), please follow the returns procedure below. We don't charge extra postage for sending out exchanges, and any price difference between the exchanged products will be refunded or requested from you as appropriate. It's faster if you order the new product you need and then send us the return for a refund, rather than waiting for us to send out the replacement after the return has arrived: the overall cost is the same either way. 


Cancellation or Return procedure

1.  If you simply wish to cancel an order that hasn't yet been shipped to you, you can if you wish just sign in to your account on our website via this link, identify the order you wish to cancel, and follow the cancellation procedure. Otherwise please email us first at sales@shadowhorse.co.uk with your name or order number, indicating the reasons for the return and the action you want us to take.

We strongly recommend the use of Royal Mail's Tracked 24 service, which provides similar speed, insurance cover, and end-to-end tracking as Special Delivery but at much lower cost.

If your parcel was delivered to a non-UK location, we'll supply you with a UPS return label to attach to your return parcel - the cost of the return will be deducted from your refund. 
 

Please pack the goods similarly to the way they were sent out so they won't get damaged, and send them appropriately tracked and insured with your return address on the label: we can't accept liability for returns damaged or lost in transit.Please also ensure the parcel includes something showing the customer name and/or the order number so we're able to identify who the return has come from. It would also be helpful if you emailed us with the tracking number after posting so we know when to expect it.

Special instructions for leather items and LT masks: When returning TSF classic girths and other leather items like bridles please don't pack them folded up tightly, as this damages the leather: pack loosely curved in the same way it was shipped. When returning Fenwick LT masks with Velcro straps, please ensure the straps are attached as loose straps can damage any fabric they rub against.


Refunds

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method (card or Paypal). Our system will issue an automated email to you confirming the refund details - please allow 3-4 working days for the refund to appear in your account.
