Shipping policy
Fast delivery
Any product shown as "In-stock" is in our stockroom and available for immediate shipment. We aim to ship in-stock orders the same or latest next business day, and all UK orders are sent via next-day delivery services. If you need an item particularly urgently, contact us and we'll do what we can to get it to you when you need it.
Out of stock products
Where an item isn't in stock this is flagged up on the product page, at checkout, and on the order confirmation email. We'll normally include it in our next shipment from the supplier: typical order lead-time is 1-3 weeks depending on our re-order cycle and the brand involved - if we expect the delay to be longer, we'll let you know giving you the option to cancel. Where part of your order is out of stock we'll hold shipment until all the items have come in, unless you request otherwise.
UK Delivery (including Channel Islands)
We charge £4.95 shipping for all orders up to £99. Shipping is free for orders £100 & up.
All orders are shipped via next-day delivery services, normally Royal Mail Tracked 24. The carrier will text or email you on the morning of delivery giving a delivery window and providing a facility to reschedule the delivery, redirect to a neighbour, or provide instructions to leave in a safe place or local collection point.
International orders
We routinely ship to all European countries and to overseas destinations - N. America, Australia, Middle East, etc. Our delivery charge for International orders up to £249 is £14.95. Shipping is free for orders £250 and over.

VAT & customs charges on international orders
Orders sent to EU countries: We ship all orders to the EU VAT and duty paid. Our prices include a provision for EU VAT and all customs charges are sent back to us, so customers have nothing to pay on import to their destination country. We regret that due to EU VAT e-Commerce regulations, we are currently unable to accept EU orders below £150 (c. €180) to destinations other than Ireland, Austria, Germany, France, Italy, Spain and the Netherlands.
Shipments to other destinations (incl. Channel Islands): VAT is not chargeable, but our system charges the same selling prices. In compensation for not deducting the VAT component, we heavily subsidise our shipping charges for overseas destinations, charging the same rates as for European shipments. We will on request refund the VAT component of any order, less any excess of the actual shipping costs over our shipping charge.
International customers not in the EU are responsible for any customs charges that may be levied on import.
Certain brands prohibit us from shipping to countries where they have a local retailer or distributor. Where we receive such an order we'll notify you, pointing you to the local source and providing a full refund.
Note also that our tester service is only available to UK customers, due to the cost and complexity of sending and returning testers elsewhere.
