Size: standard size is Large, fits most horses. Also available in XL and Medium, plus in Small as a special order: see this size chart for more detailed sizing information. 

Colour: We stock these in black, but can be ordered as a special order in grey and blue. Note that Fenwick make these special order colours to order, so the lead-time for these is likely to be c. 2 weeks longer than the 2-3 weeks quoted for non-stocked items

Comfortable fly bonnet/fly veil/ear cover made from Fenwick's therapeutic Liquid Titanium fabric - this version with acoustic / soundless ears. An enhancement to their standard LT ear bonnet with the ears made of a special sound-absorbing material to dramatically reduce the impact of noises. Fenwick also make a version of their LT mask with the same sound absorbent ears  - see "You may also like" below for this and the standard ear bonnet.

Why we chose it:

  • Excellent fit: 4-way stretch fabric ensures good, comfortable fit on most horses
  • Effective: Aids in relaxation of the poll & surrounding muscles: can calm and improve awareness (though with a less strong effect than the LT mask).
  • Practical: Works equally well on a wet or dry horse, can be left on without breaks, machine wash & dry

"It is made from a four-way stretch fabric, which ensures an excellent fit on most horses and has very thin seams so unlikely to rub anywhere. It is effective in aiding relaxation of the poll and surrounding muscles and is so lightweight it prevents excess sweating or heat build-up. We offer a "try before you buy" service for LT masks and ear bonnets - see Fenwick testers in "You may also like" below. If you are unsure of sizing or effectiveness for your horse, we strongly recommend using this option, as returns of new items cannot be accepted if they are soiled or otherwise damaged and therefore not re-saleable

Legality for Dressage competitions:  Ear bonnets - including the LT ear bonnet - are generally allowed in dressage competitions: many competitors use the mask for travelling and switch to the ear bonnet for the competition. However, this version with sound reducing ears is not strictly permitted as dressage rules prohibit use of ear plugs or other tack with a sound reducing effect during tests
