Chloe Bernard of shadowhorse.co.uk says:

"When you hand your money to an on-line retailer you rely on them to deliver what you've ordered promptly and deal fairly with any problems.  So choose a retailer where you can have confidence in their service ethic and integrity.

  • Never use a site that says it stores your credit card details for future purchases unless unless they are a very large, sophisticated retailer in whose security you can have absolute confidence.
  • Remember that, by law, you have the right to return any purchase (with a very few exceptions such as perishable or custom-made goods) for a full refund up to 7 days after they are delivered. But you should notify the seller of your intention to return in writing (e.g. by email) within the 7 days."

"We take pride in our reputation for excellent customer service and aim to always handle any concern or problem with a purchase promptly and with nimimum hassle. We also allow you 14 days to decide to make a return rather than the statutory 7."

"Our payments are totally secure: your credit card details go fully encrypted directly to Sagepay our card payment handler by-passing our site completely."

"We're offering to gift wrap for free any purchase made in the run-up to Christmas: just request this via an email to us (sales@shadowhorse.co.uk)"

"We aim to ship any order within 48 hours of receiving the order and we ship via Royal Mail 1st Class or a next day courier service , so you can be sure your purchase will arrive in time."

"Anyone receiving a gift of one of our products is free to exchange it (for example if the size turns out to be wrong) without need for a receipt.  Because we exclusively sell all our products in the UK we can be sure anything returned came from us."
