Fenwick LT (Liquid Titanium) calming mask (without ears)
Comfortable and generally calming full head mask made from Fenwick's therapeutic Liquid Titanium fabric. This version comes without ears - also comes with standard or acoustic/soundless ears: see "You may also like" below for the other versions.
Note: This is the original Liquid Titanium mask from Fenwick Equestrian, which we have been selling for over 10 years. Don't confuse it with copy masks described as "Titanium" or "Calming" which are NOT the same product.
Why we chose it:
- Excellent fit: Contoured cut plus 4-way stretch fabric ensures excellent fit on most horses. Very comfortable elastic fastenings
- Effective: Aids in relaxation of the poll & surrounding muscles. Can have a strong calming effect on highly strung horses - used very successfully on international horse transport
- Practical: Works equally well on a wet or dry horse, can be left on without breaks, machine wash & dry

Please note that these masks are NOT legal for dressage competition. The LT ear bonnets ARE dressage legal - many competitors use the mask for travelling and switch to the ear bonnet for competition
Sizing & other options:
Size: Stocked in medium (cob), large (full) and XL sizes (if in doubt about size go for the larger one); also available to special order (and therefore non-returnable) in Small & X-small. For more detailed guidance on sizing see this page
Colour: Stocked in black or dark grey, with navy available as a special order (2-3 weeks' lead-time).
Attachment type: There are two types of attachment through which the mask attaches under the throat: small metal carabiner clips, or velcro. The velcro provides a slightly neater look and a small amount of adjustability, but can get a bit manky with hair and bedding when in everyday use. The clip version has the advantage for travelling that it's quick to get on & off.
